The German National Democratic Party (German: Deutsch Nationaldemokratische Partei) is a major right-wing political party in the Weimar Republic. It was founded by former German Army Major General Julius Laurenz after the end of World War I. The party developed its ideology as a right-wing working-class alternative to the powerful Communist Party of Germany.
