The various governments of Dorvik have over the course of their history given out several dozen awards to both citizens of the nation and foreigners. Traditionally, the head of state has the authority to create, suspend, award and revoke awards and decorations of the Dorvish nation. These awards or either in the form of medals, commendations or orders. Currently, the President of the Dorvish Republic has the responsibility for this and serves as the honorary leader of many of the orders that he can bestow upon citizens and foreigners for their efforts to the Dorvish people and nation.

March 23rd, 1274 The Order of the Black Eagle was established by Regismund I, the first King of Dorvik to commemorate the foundation of the Kingdom of Dorvik. It is considered one of the highest honors in the entire nation to be inducted into the Order of the Black Eagle. It was first only granted to those of noble birth but gradually this changed overtime and the Order of the Black Eagle was awarded to commoners and military men and women who had served the Dorvish Kingdom with their life or had displayed extraordinary leadership or guidance to the nation.

The Master of the Order is always the head of state of the Dorvish nation, with the pretender to the Dorvish throne as an honorary Master, there is only one class and they are known as "Knights of the Order of the Black Eagle" (Dundorfian: Ritter des Ordens vom Schwarzen Adler)

March 23rd, 1702 The Order of the Red Eagle was established by Regismund IV in 1702 as a means of rewarding those individuals who did not qualify for the Order of the Black Eagle. It was created with the same criteria in mind but it was the first order that permitted enlisted men to be awarded a medal. It can be awarded in various levels Grand Cross (Dorvish and Dundorfian nobility and royality), 1st Class (Generals and senior civil servants), 2nd Class (High ranking officers and high level civil servants), 3rd class (Field officers and lower level nobility), 4th class (Company grade officers) and finally the Order of the Red Eagle Medal which can be awarded to enlisted men.

March 1st, 1750 The House Order of Faust-Essen is awarded to military officers and civilians alike, it is awarded personally by the Dorvish monarch and came in four levels. Grand Commander (Großkomtur), Commander (Komtur), Knight (Ritter), Member (Inhaber) each level increased in status and height in social standing. For instance, Grand Commander could only be awarded to high ranking generals and civil servants, commander slightly lower, knight to all commissioned officers and senior civil servants and member to NCOs, enlisted and low-ranking civil servants.

March 1st, 1532 The House Order of Auspitz-Topol is awarded by the reigning Duke of Greater Kordusia as a military and civil order which recognizes members of the province of Kordusia and their merits. It is awarded in Grand Cross, Commander with Sash, Commander, Knight 1st Class, Knight 2nd Class, plus Medal of Merit for Science and Arts, Medal of Merit for Civil Service and Medal of Merit for Economics and Finance.

These are the awards of the Ministry of War and the Supreme General Staff of the Armed Forces of Dorvik. They are awarded by the Military Awards Office (Dundorfian: Militärische Auszeichnungenamt) of the Supreme General Staff.
