The Dorvish government is organized in an effective and bureaucratic manner, the Dorvish government is staffed by the State Civil Service Administration which staffs the entire Dorvish civil service. Each ministry is headed by an appointed Minister, these ministers serve as the behest of the people of Dorvik and can be voted out by the members of the State Council. Beneath each Minister is a State Secretary, these State Secretaries are appointed by the minister themselves. Each ministry has a direct state secretary, for instance the State Secretary for Finance is the most senior state secretary and considered to be a "deputy minister". State secretaries who have a specific agency, service or office attached to their name make up the senior leadership of the ministry but rank lower then the head state secretary. These men and women serve as General-Directors of various Dorvish agencies, services and offices. Beneath specific agencies and services of the Dorvish government are departments these are headed by directors, they rank below the General-Directors.

A special title was created for the Office of Government Administration, this office is charged with the entire organizational structure of the Dorvish government

Office of the PresidentEdit

The Office of the President of the Dorvish Republic (Dundorfian: Amt des Präsidenten der Dorvische Republik) is the executive office of the President of the Dorvish Republic. The Dorvish President is nominally ceremonial but does posses the title of Supreme Commander-in-Chief (Dundorfian: Oberbefehlshaber), which entitles the Dorvish President a number of abilities when it comes to the Dorvish Armed Forces. The Dorvish President also serves as the chief diplomat of the Dorvish Republic, he/she has the ability to accredit and receive ambassadors, grant amnesties and underneath the law undertake "take all necessary steps to re-establish law and order" if "public order and security was seriously disturbed or endangered". The President also sits as the de facto Chairman of the State Security and Defense Council but resigns leadership duties to the State Secretary for the State Security and Defense Council.

In 3959 the Dorvish government created the Foreign Economic Council (Dundorfian: Außenhandel Rat) underneath the Main Office of the President, it was designed to handle all foreign trade agreements and unite the Economic Cooperation and Development ministry's efforts with that of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Dorvish Chancellery

The State Chancellery (Dundorfian: Staatskanzlei) is the collective name of the office serving the Dorvish State Chancellor, the office is comprised of various officials who assist the State Chancellor in his/her duties. The State Chancellery is headed by an appointed State Secretary of the State Chancellery (Dundorfian: Staatssekretär für die Staatskanzlei) is the name of the chief of staff of the Dorvish State Chancellor's office.

The State Chancellery building is located in the Central District of Haldor right in front of Staatsplatz, where it joins with the Petrov Building to make up the primary square in central haldor. The State Chancellery comprises numerous offices, organization and agencies that work underneath the auspices of the Dorvish State Chancellor. The Dorvish State Chancellor is in charge of the Dorvish Foreign Intelligence Service, which he/she directs.

Ministry of Foreign AffairsEdit

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Dundorfian: Ministerium für Auswärtige Angelegenheiten) is the foreign ministry of the Dorvish Republic, it is charged with handling all matters of affairs relating to International Affairs as well as relations between states. The Minister of Foreign Affairs assists the President of the Dorvish Federation as the chief diplomat of the Dorvish Republic. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organized into various offices and departments which serve the Dorvish government in doing their duties internationally. The Foreign Ministry of the Dorvish Republic has two State Secretaries at full rank rather than one due to the importance of the Artanian Union and the CSCO.

Ministry of the InteriorEdit

The Ministry of the Interior (Dundorfian: Ministerium des Innern) also known as the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Dundorfian: Ministerium für Innere Angelegenheiten) is the internal affairs ministry of the Dorvish Republic. The Ministry of Interior is charged with all matters of internal affairs, including handling the police, the civil service, government beneath the state level as well as oversight of the Dorvish government and internal statistics. The Minister of the Interior is considered to be one of the most prestigious and most influential positions within Dorvik due to the importance of security and military organizations throughout Dorvik.

Ministry of WarEdit

The Ministry of War sometimes known as the Ministry of Defense is the defense ministry of the Dorvish Republic. The Ministry of War is one of the largest ministries in the entire Dorvish government and is tasked with overseeing the entire Dorvish military. The Minister of War of the Dorvish Republic is widely considered to be a a key member of the Dorvish government and some political experts claim that the Dorvish Minister of War is the leading minister of the Dorvish Council of Ministers, not the Minister-President.

The Ministry of Finance (Dundorfian: Ministerium für Finanzen) is the Dorvish finance ministry. The Dorvish Finance Ministry is charged with management of all funds of the Dorvish government, they plan and implement the state budget, they are in charge of handling taxation as well as dealing with regulation for the Dorvish stock exchanges and handling most financial matters of the Dorvish state.

Ministry of Economic Cooperation and DevelopmentEdit

The Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development was designed by the founding President of the Dorvish Federation Felix Böhm as a means to control the variety of investments that the Dorvish Federation held. The ministry was primarily responsible for the Federal Property Management Agency and the Federal Holdings Management Agency. The Dorvish Republic would re-organize the ministry to create a much more strategic vision for the ministry.

Independent government agenciesEdit

The Dorvish government makes use of several independent government agencies, their heads are given 10 year terms so they are appointed in a less political way. These agencies are responsible for carrying out higher level government functions.

  • State Bank of Dorvik (The State Bank of Dorvik is the central bank of Dorvik, though it is considered an independent government agency the Ministry of Finance appoints a State Secretary to act as a liaison with the State Bank of Dorvik)
